| Fifteen year old George Munsey (Frilford Heath) wins the Gold Medal at Woodhall Spa. Played on the Bracken Course George put together two good rounds of 34 and 38 to win the prize by one shot from his two nearest rivals. Played under difficult conditions, the first day's 34 left him in eleventh position but conditions improved on the second day and George shot a 38 which was equalled by one other player.
